Recommend it for solo travelers seeking a peaceful break
The food was good, I had a parmo that was absolutely divine, like seriously can't find better. The staff were friendly, and one of them, Bobbie, even managed the bar alone on Boxing Day, did an incredible job under pressure.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly, worth every penny.

We loved our stay here! The vibe was super cozy, like stepping back in time. The four-poster bed was a highlight, and the food in the restaurant was delicious—made for a perfect evening. But the drinks felt a bit pricey compared to nearby pubs, which was a bummer. a lovely spot to unwind!
